The “Roofs for Troops” Rebate Program Helps Defray Expense for Military Families
Many returning military personnel have had a difficult time readjusting to civilian life. Some are learning to live with new physical limitations and require specialized equipment and housing modifications. Others are struggling to keep their families afloat as they return to a country whose economy recovery has been a bumpy ride and military pay lags behind it. News USA reports that more than one third of military respondents indicated financial hardship. Nearly all of them are going through (or have experienced) an adjustment period, relearning things that most Americans take for granted.
These returning men and women have witnessed horrible things and sacrificed much of their young lives to preserve our American freedoms. Yet when they return home, life does not pause while they catch their breath to just enjoy the pleasure of being home with their families. The bills continue to come in, chores must be completed, and people have retreated into their computers and cell phones. Is it any wonder that many have difficulty rising to the challenge of re-acclimation?
And then the roof falls in. Literally. Or maybe it doesn’t fall, but it has leaks from storm damage or needs some attic insulation. Such a catastrophe may seem overwhelming but for active military, veterans, and retirees (and their families), GAF, North America’s largest roofing manufacturers and a U.S.-based corporation, offers some relief. From now until December 31, 2012, active military, veterans, and retirees qualify for a Lifetime Roofing System rebate when installed by an approved factory-certified contractor.
Military Rebate for Cumming Roof Replacement is Available Now
In addition to the rebate, you will also enjoy additional warranty options and special offers. Applying for your “Roofs for Troops” rebate program is easy. Simply have the work performed by the December 31, 2012 deadline, fill out the rebate form, attach the invoice, and mail to the address provided. Rebates generally take 4 to 6 weeks to process. Rebates are limited to one per individual and, of course, are valid only in the U.S. The rebate form must be received no later than January 31, 2013.
Georgia residents interested in finding a Cumming roofer who offers the Roofs for Troops rebate program should be sure to hire a factory-certified GAF Master Elite roofing contractor in order to qualify for the rebate. By doing so, you are guaranteed fully trained technicians familiar with company standards and requirements. The certification gives consumers assurance of superior qualification, adding another layer of protection. Earning GAF certification is not an easy process. Only 3% of the roofing contractors who apply are able to qualify for this distinction. Roofers must be fully licensed and insured, be known as a reputable business that provides quality service, and demonstrate superior proficiency as well as committing to on-going education and training to ensure expert installation.
July 4th is just around the corner. As we celebrate our freedom, why not take a minute to encourage a returning soldier or veteran of a past war by telling them about the Roofs for Troops rebate program? It’s a great way to remind them that America is deeply grateful for the sacrifices they and their families have made. As a GAF certified roofing company, Cornerstone Roofing would be happy to help.
